Big Time Catch Up

Let's cram 6, eventful weeks in 1 post, ok?

Jack started preschool in January!  2 mornings a week he gets to play on this beloved school bus.  After a few tough days he is adjusted and loving it.

Kate's school had a week of theme days recently.  It's never been easier to get her out of the house than when she gets to dress up.

We went to Florida to visit Grandma & Grandpa Coffee Cup!  The kids loved the beach, swimming and getting completely doted on by Grandma and Grandpa.

How is this dude 2?  Drew, Kate and I couldn't possibly love this laid back, happy, sweet boy more.

This is what a procedure pro looks like!  Kate had her 2nd, and hopefully last, ear tube surgery.

Christmas 2015

In between celebrations with the Eder and Sand families, we enjoyed a relaxing Christmas morning at home.

Benson/Sand Wedding

The Saturday before Christmas, Michael and Brittany got married!  We couldn't be happier that Brittany is officially a part of the family.  Drew ( Holy Reverend Andy) did an excellent job officiating and we were so proud of Kate, Ryan and Connor who dominated Flower Girl/Ring Bearer duties.  Sadly, I took ONE picture the entire weekend because there was too much fun to be had.

December Fun

I have to play a little blog catch-up today!  We have enjoyed a wonderful holiday season filled with family, friends and fun.

 Completely unimpressed!

Jack took an interest in neighborhood nativities/snowmen/decorations this year.  And by take an interest I mostly mean he sat on them.

Festive!

Kate and Jack enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with both families and are now well into Christmas activities!

Snow is Fun!

Snow is fun until you remember it's cold and wet :)

The first few minutes of snow were fun!

 Dress-up, anyone?

A perfect weekend to snuggle and read lots of books!

Halloween 2015

Kate was Dorothy this year.  And, we are sure Jack would have been a really cute golfer if we could have talked him into putting his costume on without screaming :)

Fall Fun

Kate and Jack have had an action-packed few weeks!  Here are some highlights.

4 happy kids and 4 frightened fish!  Sadly, our 2 fish quickly succumbed to what we suspect was traumatic brain injury after being dropped multiple times on the walk home.  The Sands' fish are still alive!  It was quite tragic for Kate when the fish she had for approximately 11 hours died.  See below for the replacement...

Drew ran the Harvest Days 5k and Jack was happy to ride along!

Kate was selected to bring Scooter, the classroom bear, home for the weekend.  We spent lots of time documenting Scooter's adventures.  One was going down the roller coaster at Grandma and Grandpa's.

Scooter also rode a carnival ride!

And, Scooter was introduced to the replacement fish.  Kate has named the fish Emily and is still genuinely surprised when we come home/wake up and Emily is still alive :)

Catch Up!

Kate and Jack have had a busy last few weeks!  We tried to squeeze every last ounce of summer fun in before we all transitioned back to "real life".

Following in his sisters footsteps (but at a much quicker pace), Jack got ear tubes.  He was an adorable and agreeable patient and we are all excited for no more ear infections!

Last day of summer lunch at the park

As ready as she can be for a new school year!

"Hey Kate, have fun at school all day.  I'm just going to hang here and play on the iPad." :)

Kate discovered chocolate fondue and it was love at first taste.
