First Cold :(

2/3 of the Eder's are under the weather!  Drew and Kate are sharing/battling a cold just as the weather is getting nice!

The patient, watery eyes and all.

Having fun on the activity mat.

When I See You Smile

Yes, Bad English certainly did say it best.  We just couldn't resist sharing the latest pictures of our little sweetie and her grin.

Our Princess Kate

For her first Royal Wedding Kate wore a garden inspired, fuscia dress from Carter's spring line.  It had a cap sleeve (shoulders must be covered at Westminster Abbey) and a matching fuscia bloomer.  Her hat was light pink with a timeless chin-strap.  Cheers!

 Royal Attire
Happier without the hat and not sitting very lady-like!

Kate celebrated 2 months on Friday!

Happy Easter

We got the big smiles when she had her pajamas on and our photo session was over :)

Hitting Her Stride

Kate is getting more fun everyday!  Her current interests include sucking on her fingers, scratching her face and ceiling fans.  Kate would rather avoid burping, hiccups and napping (we are working diligently on this one).  We can't wait to see what she discovers next!

 Kate LOVES bath time!

Pondering the wonders of the world or practicing her Senior Picture pose?

 Multi-tasking!

Talking up a storm

Kate has been making some major strides!  She has started talking much more, especially in the morning when she and Erin have their "dance party."  Kate prefers songs by the Backstreet Boys or N'Sync, but any boy band will do.  Towards the end of spring break, Erin and I decided to push the envelope and take Kate out in the evening and it went very well!  We have done a handful of lunch dates, but Kate loved eating dinner out and behaved perfectly.  Finally, and maybe most exciting, Kate has started to sleep for longer stretches at night (surely she will be up all night after typing this)!  She has been down for a handful of 4-6 hour stretches over the last few nights.  Now naps on the other hand...

Still sporting "the lip".

As you can see, Kate is beginning to give her mom and dad the smile that is so well deserved!

Here is Kate playing and telling us all about her plans for the future.
