Exactly one year ago today we were in the midst of the Blizzard of 2011.  38 weeks pregnant with Kate, we were afraid that, if needed, we might not be able to make it to the hospital under 22 inches of snow...

Although we had measurable snow in December, today was Kate's first REAL snow day.  It looks like Kate is a fan!

*These pictures reminded me that the blog has left out some very important people in her life!  While Drew and I are at work, Kate is in the very capable hands of The Lloyds.  Jeanette watches Kate and her niece, Caroline, while her three kids are at school/preschool.  James, their youngest, (pictured above) is home part of the day when he is not at preschool.  Kate adores them all and they adore her back!  We are beyond lucky to have them!

Pinterest Project

My new favorite website, pinterest.com, is both a wonderful time waster and also full of cute ideas.  What makes it particularly dangerous is it makes these cute ideas seem so easy!  Enter our first successful pinterest project - book storage for Kate's room.
