Countdown to Summer

The warm weather has arrived and Kate loves being outside!  Her new favorite activity is standing at the front door and observing the neighborhood.  Erin and I are only a little jealous that she smiles and laughs at the trees more then at us.

Kate and Buddy the Dog have developed quite the friendship.  Buddy is very tolerant of Kate's affinity to chewing his legs and ears.

Finally, Kate slept in her crib for the first time this week!  For her first three months the crib was strictly a decorative piece, but we are glad it will finally be put to good use.  Good riddance, swing.  Good riddance.

Happy 1st birthday to our nephew and cousin Ryan!!  We love you and can't believe you are already 1!!

3 Months

 I refuse to smile for my 3 month picture.

 But, if you let me lay on my blanket and play I will smile all you want.

3 months was so an hour ago, let me go to sleep.

When I'm with You

I received a few positive comments about the reference to Monster Ballads, one of the best compilations in American music history.  Therefore, this post will pay tribute to the band Sheriff as well as a few pictures from the last week.

   Kate enjoyed her first pork shoulder with her dad last weekend.

Kate and dad before dad went to prom and Kate went to bed.  Kate and dad have already had their first talk about potential prom dresses when her turn comes around.  Kate has refused to talk to me since we had that chat.

First Cold :(

2/3 of the Eder's are under the weather!  Drew and Kate are sharing/battling a cold just as the weather is getting nice!

When I See You Smile

 

Yes, Bad English certainly did say it best.  We just couldn't resist sharing the latest pictures of our little sweetie and her grin. 

Our Princess Kate

For her first Royal Wedding Kate wore a garden inspired, fuscia dress from Carter's spring line.  It had a cap sleeve (shoulders must be covered at Westminster Abbey) and a matching fuscia bloomer.  Her hat was light pink with a timeless chin-strap.  Cheers!
