Kate has been battling a lingering cold the last couple of weeks, but we have still squeezed in some fun!

Big Decisions

We've got some big decisions to make in the Eder House!  Namely, what is Kate going to be for Halloween?!  Luckily we have lots of good options and a very cute and willing participant.

 An '80's workout girl?

 Purple princess

 Flapper

Marathoner

Luckily we have a few more weeks until we have to decide...

Feeling Like Fall

 Grandparents Day at Kensington School

 Mad jumping skills

We were all happy to celebrate Joe's birthday, but Drew was especially excited when Kate initiated shooting baskets

Kate might look like she is going to eat that apple, but it would have to be dipped in chocolate for her to consider it.

Disney on Ice

Kate enjoyed her first Disney on Ice experience today!  She especially enjoyed seeing Ariel, her wand, wearing a crown and the concession stand :)

Sports Weekend

After spending Saturday in Dwight cheering on Uncle Mike's softball team and Sunday watching the Bears win the season opener, Kate has had her fill of sports!

Two of my favorite Bears fans

What better way to finish the weekend than with a nice, relaxing pedi...

Big Sister!

Kate is very excited that she will be a BIG SISTER in January!  She is certain the baby is a girl and that the baby's name will be "Baby Kate".  When we mentioned that it was possible the baby would be a boy, her face filled with shock:)  Although we won't know until the baby is born whether it will be a boy or girl, Kate will definitely be a great big sister!

First Day of School

Kate had her first full day at Kensington School in LaGrange today!  She ate, slept, went potty in the toilet and made a jelly fish so I'd say it was a successful day.  It is definitely safe to say that she had an easier time with it than her parents did!  We expect, in a few short weeks, Kate will be the mayor of the "2's" room.
