Catch Up!

Kate and Jack have had a busy last few weeks!  We tried to squeeze every last ounce of summer fun in before we all transitioned back to "real life".

Following in his sisters footsteps (but at a much quicker pace), Jack got ear tubes.  He was an adorable and agreeable patient and we are all excited for no more ear infections!

As ready as she can be for a new school year!

"Hey Kate, have fun at school all day.  I'm just going to hang here and play on the iPad." :)

Kate discovered chocolate fondue and it was love at first taste.

Getaway

We enjoyed our Wisconsin trip with the whole Sand Family so much we decided to extend it a day!

We started our trip at a train restaurant we were sure Jack would love.  Certainly he would have enjoyed it if he didn't have a yet-to-be-diagnosed double ear infection.  Thank you, Sheboygan Urgent Care!

School's Out For Summer

3/4 of us are on summer break and Drew is not far behind!  We are looking forward to lazy mornings, playing outside and, as Kate so eloquently declared, "Doing WHATEVER we want."

Kate dressed up for Farmer Day at school.  She was looking a little more cowgirl than farmer to me, but cute nonetheless.

 Our happy, handsome guy

Last day of school for Kate!

"Mom, I'm shocked that you don't want me to stand in the kitchen sink."

Grateful

I am grateful for having the best mom.  I am grateful for grandmas who set the bar high.  I am grateful for a wonderful mother-in-law.  I am grateful for supportive friends and family who are on this mom journey with me.  I am most grateful for my two favorite kids who, on most days, seem fairly satisfied that they are stuck with me as their mom for eternity.
