Goofy Guys

My boots have provided countless hours of entertainment

 Someone enjoyed dinner

Spring cleaning fun
Don't worry, we put the washer on the gentle cycle

Jack currently loves taking all things out of the frig and re-organizing, especially the beer.

Oh Yeah, One More Thing...

There was one other magical stop we made in on our Florida trip:  Disney World!!  How often are you a couple hours away from the Magic Kingdom and have a 4 year old who loves princesses?!  It was a whirlwind and memorable 24 hours.

Excited to have Grandma and Grandpa with us!  Grandma doesn't look thrilled to be on the bus.

 "It's a small word after all, it's a small world after all, it's a....."

Grandpa and Kate dominating Buzz Lightyear.  Have to hit up Matthew's ride.

 The highlight of Kate's trip!

Missing one very important person in this one.
The travel gods smiled down on us again with a full row to ourselves on the way home.

Florida Sun

The kids and I have been looking forward to our trip to Florida to see Grandma and Grandpa Sand and enjoy the sun!  Thankfully, Kate and Jack are superb travel partners.  We all had a wonderful time!

Jack forgot how fun swings are over the winter

Happy to be snuggling with Grandpa Coffee Cup!

The simple joy of a park after a cold winter...

Four

Kate Kate -

It's official. As of today, we have a four year old daughter.  Four year old daughter.... this will take a little getting use to.  The problem with having a four year old daughter is that I still remember the day you were born like it happened yesterday. It seems impossible to think that four years have passed, that our peanut of a baby has turned into a little girl with a head full of curls.  In looking back at your past birthday letters some clear themes emerged; observant, strong-willed, curious, brave, funny and a home-body to name a few.  These are still reflective of you.  I think this year you have shown the most growth in more subtle ways.  You are more independent.  You are more aware.  You are more articulate.  Being a big sister has given you many opportunities to practice patience and empathy and cooperation.  Sometimes you were more happy to "practice" these skills than others:)  So, now that you have done all this growing into a big girl, anytime you want to freeze time would be alright with me.  Because we can't get enough of your snuggles or your imagination or your belly laughs with your brother or your sweet smiles.

Happy Birthday, Kate! You light up our life!

Anticipation

There has been lots to be excited about in the Eder house!
 Picking out Valentines!

If someone could let me know how it is possible that we have an almost 4 year old, that would be great.

Jack was anticipating the red velvet cake falling off the counter for an early morning snack!

He was also eager to get out of this box.

We were also excited Grandma & Grandpa Sand came home for a long weekend so Ry and Kate could sit under their dinning room table?
